Google Business Profile Diagnostic

Is your Google Business Profile helping or hiding you?

For many local businesses, the Google profile gets seen before the website. We check the basics that affect trust and visibility: categories, services, photos, posts, reviews, hours, website alignment, service areas, and whether the profile matches what customers actually search.

Answer the eight questions below for your own instant score. Or send us your business name, website, and main service area and we will tell you what is missing and what to fix first.

Open your Google Business Profile in another tab first, then answer honestly. The gaps you find are exactly what to fix.

1Have you chosen a primary category that matches what you actually do?

Open your Google Business Profile and check the primary category. It is the single biggest factor in which searches you show up for. A plumber listed as a general contractor is nearly invisible for plumbing.

2Have you listed your individual services, each with its own description?

Google lets you add specific services under your profile. Most businesses leave this blank or list one line. Filled-out services help you match more of the exact searches customers type.

3Do you have at least 10 real photos, including recent ones?

Count the photos on your profile. Profiles with real, current photos of your work, your team, and your location get more clicks and calls than bare listings with a logo and nothing else.

4Have you posted an update in the last 30 days?

Google Business Profile has a posts feature, like a mini social feed on your listing. A profile that has not posted in months reads as a business that may have closed.

5Do you have a healthy number of reviews with recent activity?

Look at both the count and the dates. A handful of reviews from two years ago reads as stale. Steady, recent reviews move rankings and trust more than a big number frozen in the past.

6Are your hours, phone number, and address correct right now?

Check them as a customer would see them. Wrong hours send people to a closed door; a wrong or old number sends a call to nowhere. Google also trusts profiles whose details stay consistent.

7Is your website linked from your profile?

A profile with no website link, or a link to the wrong page, loses visitors who want to learn more or book. The link also connects your listing to your site in Google's eyes.

8Have you set your service area or storefront correctly?

If you travel to customers, your service area should list the cities you actually serve. If customers come to you, your address should be exact. Getting this wrong hides you from nearby searches.

Answer all eight, then tap See my visibility score.

Why these eight

Category, services, photos, posts, reviews, accurate details, a linked website, and a correct service area are the levers that decide whether your business shows up when a nearby customer searches. A scanner cannot judge whether your category truly matches your work, or whether your reviews feel current. You can, in two minutes, and the gaps you find are the exact list to work through.

Why you can trust the work

Real builds and written guarantees, not stock testimonials

We are a young studio and we will not pretend otherwise. Instead of a wall of invented reviews, here is the actual work you can look at, and exactly what we put in writing.
